Nominations have now closed
Do you know a special young person aged between 5 and 19 years living or receiving education within Spelthorne who deserves recognition? If so, you may wish to nominate them for a Spelthorne Youth Award!
We are looking for nominations in the following categories:
- Outstanding academic achievement
- Personal achievement
- Community spirit
- Triumph over adversity
- Sports achievement
- Arts achievement (including performing arts)
- Unselfishness, kindness and bravery
Anyone can nominate a young person for an award and there is no limit to how many you can nominate.
The deadline for nominations this year was Friday 9 January 2026, with the awards evening taking place at Holiday Inn Shepperton on Wednesday 18 March 2026.
All young people nominated will be made aware of their nominations. A selection of top nominees from each category will be invited to a special awards ceremony and presented with a certificate from the Mayor of Spelthorne. A star award and £50 voucher is presented to one young person from each category deemed most worthy by a panel of judges.
