About the Project

Esso's Southampton to London Pipeline (SLP) project proposes to replace 90km of the existing 105km underground aviation fuel pipeline that runs from Fawley Refinery near Southampton to the West London Terminal storage facility in Hounslow.  The proposed pipeline will pass through Spelthorne and if constructed will have a range of environmental and amenity impacts in the locality, mainly during the construction phase.
