⚠️ Garden Waste Service Update
New customers wishing to sign up and existing customers wanting to renew their subscription, will not be able to do so until 1 March 2026.
Thank you for your patience.
If you move within the borough, please make sure that you inform Customer Services so that they can transfer your Garden Waste Subscription to your new address.

What happens to my garden waste?
It is taken to Trumps Farm in Chertsey where it is broken down into compost. This compost then goes to local farms in the area.
Compost bins
Composting your uncooked food and garden waste at home is a great way to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill and provides you with free soil conditioner. Visit our composting page for more information.
