Greenbelt assessment

The Green Belt Assessment was produced by consultants ARUP and assesses how areas of Green Belt land in the Borough are performing against Green Belt purposes as set out in the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), as well as considering whether any other land could be potentially designated as Green Belt.

Please note: The assessment is not a policy or decision-making document that proposes any release of Green Belt land but is an important part of the Council's evidence base.
