Spelthorne Borough Council collects the data of those residents who wish to receive an audio or large print copy of The Bulletin, our Borough magazine.
You are asked in the front of the magazine (in print and online) that if you wish to receive a large print or audio version to call or email. The legal basis we are relying on is public task (Article 6(e)) under the UK GDPR. You do have the option to opt out of receiving the bulletin if you wish to do so. Please inform us if you no longer wish to receive it. The purpose of The Bulletin magazine is to provide you news and event information within the Borough of Spelthorne.
Your personal data (name, address), is processed when you opt in to receive future editions of the Bulletin magazine. You will continue to receive these copies until such a time you wish to opt out.
The personal data you have supplied will be destroyed upon you unsubscribing from the receiving large print or audio copies of The Bulletin. If you would like to unsubscribe at any time, please email l.king@spelthorne.gov.uk or call 01784 444260.
