Spelthorne Artists Unlocked Seed Funding

Spelthorne Borough Council will be collecting information about individuals in connection with the processing and payment of seed funds.

In order to comply with the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation, Spelthorne Borough Council must provide applicants with the following information about the personal data you give to us:

The Council will use the data provided to contact applicants in relation to their seed fund application, and in some cases to pay awards to individuals.

The Council will be acquiring your data direct from you as applicant for the seed fund.

Your information may be shared with the Council's finance department and relevant services, in order to make payments and verify your application is valid. For example, if it is for provision of a service which works for, or alongside a Council service.

The information will not be passed on to any other third parties or transferred out of the EU.

The Council will keep seed fund recipients data for seven years from the application deadline as detailed in the Council's retention policy relating to Council expenditure. If you are unsuccessful, your data will only be stored for one year from the application deadline date.

We have a public task requirement to collect this data, therefore if you do not provide this data the Council will no longer be able to process your application or pay seed fund money.
