The Licensing Act 2003 deals with:

  • the sale of alcohol including off licences, pubs and restaurants
  • supply of alcohol in clubs
  • regulated entertainment such as live and recorded music
  • late night takeaways and eateries

 on drink spiking has been endorsed by the IoL alongside other stakeholders including the BBPA, UK Hospitality, BII, Hospitality Ulster, the NTIA, National PubWatch, Best Bar None and NALEO.

This information note is intended to bring together in one place the resources developed and made available by both the Government and a wide range of organisations, to bolster the work already ongoing and ensure our venues remain the safest places to enjoy a night out.
