Call For Sites

The Council needs to identify and allocate sufficient land for a wide range of uses including housing, therefore a Call for Sites exercise is issued as part of the legal requirement to prepare a Local Plan under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

The suitability of sites will be assessed through the Council's latest Strategic Land Availability Assessment (SLAA).  The SLAA is a key evidence document that determines the availability of land to meet the Borough's future housing and employment needs.

If you would like to promote a development site to the Council please complete the 

 and email it with a site plan clearly showing the boundaries of the site to local.plan@spelthorne.gov.uk

Putting a site forward through this process does not guarantee that the site will be developed or granted planning permission.
