What is the Spelthorne Partnership Assembly (SPA)?

The Resident Association meetings led by the Leader and Deputy Leader have always been a valuable platform to engage with community representatives from across the borough. The subjects discussed are varied and are often the responsibility of not only Spelthorne Borough Council, but also the County Council and other organisations.

The council administration has built on the foundations already laid by the Residents Association meetings by transforming these meetings into the Spelthorne Partnership Assembly (SPA).  All residents are invited to attend along with County Councillors.  Other agencies will be invited at the request of residents. This will mean that all agencies are in tune with the issues most important to our communities.
